How Live-in Care Works

A clear, carefully guided process from first conversation to care in place

A THOUGHTFUL, WELL-GUIDED PROCESS

Arranging live-in care should feel clear, supported and carefully managed from the outset.

For many families, arranging care follows a change in circumstances — whether after a hospital discharge or as needs gradually evolve.

Our role is to guide you through each step with calm expertise, ensuring the right support is arranged with clarity and confidence.

1. INITIAL CONVERSATION

Your journey begins with a confidential conversation with one of our experienced Care Consultants.

We take time to understand your situation, what has prompted you to explore care and the level of support that may be required — offering calm guidance from the very first step.

There is no pressure — simply an opportunity to talk things through and understand what might be possible.

2. PRIVATE CARE CONSULTATION

Where appropriate, we arrange a private care consultation to explore your requirements in greater detail.

This allows us to understand not only care needs, but routines, preferences and the way the household runs day to day — ensuring we can make carefully considered recommendations.

This can take place by telephone or online, at a time that suits you.

3. your care proposal

Following your consultation, we prepare a personalised care proposal outlining the recommended approach based on your circumstances.

This includes carefully selected carers for your consideration, along with clear guidance on how care can be arranged within the home.

We take time to ensure each recommendation feels appropriate, considered and well suited from the outset.

4. INTRODUCING YOUR CARER

We carefully introduce carers based on experience, personality and compatibility with the household.

You have the opportunity to review profiles and speak with carers, ensuring you feel confident and comfortable before any arrangements are made.

We take time to ensure each introduction feels right — not only on paper, but within the home.

5. Care begins

Once you are comfortable with your chosen carer, arrangements are finalised and care begins within the home.

Our team remains available for guidance and support, ensuring everything continues to run smoothly as needs evolve.

We stay closely involved, providing continuity and reassurance throughout.
