What is Live-in Care?
Live-in Care is a professional service provided in a person’s home – so falls under the umbrella term of domiciliary care (domicile=home in Latin). In short, ‘Live-in care’ is a service provided by a professionally qualified Carer who temporarily resides in a person’s home providing care, companionship, and support as and when required throughout the day or night.
As it is within a person’s ‘own’ home, the care is bespoke, personalised, and delivered one-to-one. Live-in care is an alternative to a residential care home, an hourly care service, or a sitting service.

Live-in care is a safer way for your loved ones to remain in their own home, whilst receiving the specialist care and companionship they require. We truly believe there's no place like home, living the life as you choose, with familiar routines surrounded by comforting memories.

Having a live-in carer is suitable for all ages, living with all manner of conditions - from young adults with health conditions, and people living with disabilities to elderly people who need that extra support.

Why You May Need Live-in Care
People may need help for several reasons: a disability, illness, convalescence, respite, loneliness, a myriad of health conditions, being frail & elderly or approaching the end of their life.
Live-in care is also a wonderful option for couples who both require care and support too, as a Live-in Carer can provide help to both. Arranging Live-in care for a couple is also far, far less expensive than having two bedrooms in a residential care home.
There are many situations where arranging a Live-in Carer can help and, whether it is a short or long-term solution, it really does afford peace of mind for the whole family, safe in the knowledge that their parent or relative has someone to reach out to if needed throughout the day and night.
